Nate purchased Twin Cities Air Service, LLC, in July of 2002. Prior to that, he flew in the international jet market, qualifying him as a captain in both Hawker and Citation series jets. Nate was also the Director of Pilot Training for Cape Air/Nantucket Airlines, which employs over 500 people and has a fleet of 50 Cessna 402s.
At Cape Air, Nate was also responsible for the recruitment, hiring, initial and recurrent training for all pilots and has conducted approximately 200 FAA check rides as an FAA check airman. Cape Air/Nantucket Airlines enjoyed an accident-free record during his tenure as Director.
Nate has over 7,500 hours of total flight time, including more than 1,000 hours of jet time, over 1,000 hours of turbo-prop time, and more than 3,000 hours of Cessna 402 time. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a CE500, HS125 and LearJet 25/35 jet type ratings. Nate most recently added LearJet type-ratings to his ATP pilot certificate.
Jamey Gauthier, Chief Pilot
Jamey has worked for Twin Cities Air Service since 2001. He has filled positions from flight instructor to King Air captain. Jamey has an ATP certificate with multi-engine and seaplane ratings. Jamey served as an FAA Safety Councilor, and served in the U.S. Navy on P-3 Orions. He has more than 7,000 hours of flight time.
Dave Carter, Director of Maintenance
Dave is the Director of Maintenance for our on-demand charter operations. He has worked in aircraft maintenance since 1978. He has experience working on many aircraft types, and extensive knowledge of metal fabrication and installation. He is currently spearheading the reconstruction of a Cessna 402 at our Auburn location.
His training has included the Convair 600 Systems, Rolls Royce Dart Engines, Hartzell Propeller Composite Propeller Repair, CASA 212 Systems, Garrett TPE - 331 Maintenance and Troubleshooting, Pratt and Whitney - PT6-20 Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Hot
Section Inspection, Beech 1900C Maintenance School, TCM Fuel Injection and Turbochargers, and TCM Continuous Fuel Flow Systems.
Cassie Blake, Charter Department Co-Manager
Cassie is a licensed aircraft dispatcher bringing over 4 years of experience in the aviation industry and over 10 years in customer service to TCAS. She achieved her dispatch certification in 2007, and went on to work for a part 135 charter company. In 2008, she went on to work for a dispatch school in Dallas, TX training dispatchers and assisting students in obtaining positions for many major airlines around the world. She has since moved back to her home state of Maine to raise her two children in our beautiful state and continue pursuing her passion in aviation at Twin Cities Air Service.
Edwinna Parent, Charter Department Co-Manager
Edwinna brings over fifteen years of aviation industry experience to TCA. She served as a flight attendant for two different major airlines and flew both domestic and international routes. In 2000, Edwinna earned her Private Pilot's license as well as an Instrument Rating. She holds a BS in Business Administration and Aviation Science. Edwinna resides in Durham, ME with her husband and four children.
Charlotte Engelman, CFO
Charlotte has been with Twin Cities Air Service since 1998. She started in the front office and progressed to being a Charter Dispatcher, leading the Charter Department, and then Office Manager in 1999. In 2000, she moved up to Co-General Manager, a position she held until 2005 when she reduced her hours to care for her children. Since 2005, she has remained a vital part of Twin Cities Air Service acting as Chief Financial Officer, Human Resources Director, and employee trainer. Throughout the years, she has maintained the continuity of policy and procedures at Twin Cities through employee progressions.
Charlotte graduated from Bates College, and is a certificated commercial pilot with land, sea, and instrument ratings.
